Nice is France's leading resort on its Riviera, located about halfway between Monaco and Cannes. A popular flower market is located in the Cours Saleya, and the courts of law are located in the Place du Palais, which is also a popular area for nightlife. Expect to find several tourists in the Place Rossetti, especially in the nighttime.

Food lovers will appreciate the bouillabaisse and the ratatouille. Local fresh ingredients, in Nice as in most of France, play a key role in the cuisine of the city.
